Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has made a lasting impression in the film industry. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. She moved to Texas in order to pursue an occupation as a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not stay in Texas for very long, and she shortly after moved in Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of roles as an actor including independent local films and commercials. Despite the small parts she quickly discovered her passion for acting. After moving from New York, in 2001 she was offered her first acting role for the television show All My Children. In the beginning of 2000, she appeared in small roles on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. She landed her major role in the year 2004, on the underrated film The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to star alongside some top TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most famous role was Law & Order, where she portrayed A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. In the course of a limited run, her character migrated onto Law & Order: LA. De La Garza has been recognized several times for her character as a character, and among them was Best Supporting Actress in Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. In 2008, De La Garza won the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor in CSI Miami. She was Marisol Deko, as well as spouse to David Caruso's character Horatio. Milano. The actress is born of Italian descent and has a younger brother Cory who is ten years older than her. Her family was the strict, religious home of her family. Milano started her acting career at age seven old. Her babysitter brought her along for her first audition. The audition was attended by four girls from over 1000 applicants. Milano was featured in television commercials, off Broadway productions and Jane Eyre, the American premier of Jane Eyre.
