Alana De La Garza, an incredible actress who has made a lasting impression in the film industry. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born to a Mexican American father and an Irish-American mom in Columbus Ohio. She moved to Texas in order to pursue an occupation as a physical therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not stay in Texas for very long, and she shortly after moved in Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of roles as an actor including independent local films and commercials. Despite the small parts she quickly discovered her passion for acting. After moving from New York, in 2001 she was offered her first acting role for the television show All My Children.
